A love for color and the arts.
This professional couple, who loved to entertain large groups of friends, wanted a welcoming contemporary space, with the kitchen open enough for easy interaction with guests during dinner parties, but not obvious in the great room layout. Like the client, the home was casual, sophisticated, yet energetic. This was achieved through layers of lighting, furnishings, textures, and the rich accents of burnt orange and sienna add color and texture to an otherwise neutral palette
The client’s art collection was showcased throughout, and custom paintings were commissioned for the kitchen and entry. (2002)
